I have been using this store since it opened in approximately 2003. Great selection, convenient, helpful staff, quick checkout!
I really like Sneade's better than Lowes or Home Depot. When buying lumber, bags of mulch/gravel or bricks/pavers etc...you pay inside then drive around back where the guys help you load it into your truck instead of having to load a cart and push it around the store. Propane tanks are filled and charged by the gallon, not a flat fee so it's cheaper than other places. I can take my dogs in with me and they love to go because the girls at the registers always pet them and give them treats.
Everyone is very friendly. You can usually find those unique things that no one else usually carries. Prices are a bit high but considering that local stores usually are and the fact that you'd spend more on gas then you would save on cost by going somewhere else, it is a great place to shop.
They have some great sales once in a whole too.
Friendly people everywhere you walk in this store. They have many odd ball items that Lowe's or home depot don't. Store is well laid out and stocked. Yard crew works super hard loading stuff up too.
These folks are friendly and know what they're doing. Even as a woman wandering around the store looking confused, I don't feel patronized at all. If you've never been there, the gift shop will surprise you; they carry a large collection of Southern Maryland themed gifts as well as plenty of whimsical and creative gifts. Their buyer does a good job!
