- gutters taken off and not replaced

- glass sliding door taken off. He bought and installed a left handed door as a right handed door. But the Door's weather trimming is facing the interior! Installed backwards. Massive air leak (and crack) as there is no weather strip where the door and glass panel met

- siding was miss cut at the bottom in lots of areas and is popping out of the bottom trim track. Some siding is bulging. A majority of the siding is not secured tightly as where the siding meets another piece of siding, one piece is lower then the other piece.

I could go on and on. All in all nothing was done professional or correct as it should have been. Very disappointed!

Stay far away! Practicing without a license (expired 2015) but still advertising his MHIC. Talker but work not professional. Loads on his court case search rap sheet. He's ghosted us. Started a outside house renovation back in October 2016, contract stated two-three weeks (which, at the time, was laughable, as how does siding and such take three weeks when two+ men where to be working 8-9 hour days). He's taken most of our money - near $8000 - and ran. Materials purchased *might* of come to half that amount. He last left right after thanksgiving to go to the store to buy doors. He never returned (just his helper a couple times after). Never saw the owner again. Six months later and only a couple texts saying he would come or send someone out but nothing (last response to me was beg. of March).

SIC has done a bunch of work for me inside and outside my home. They are very reasonable with their prices and will work with you to make it fit with your budget. I am very pleased with all of the renovations they have done to my home.

During the beginning, Dave was a great contractor. Unfortunately, once I paid him a problem developed and he has been extremely hard to reach. During the remodeling of our Kitchen, we contracted Dave to install a tile floor UNDER the cabinets. Besides the fact that he hired a drug addict to do the work, they didn't follow the proper procedure to lay the floor and tiles started coming loose within days of laying them. I contacted him in April 2015 and requested that he inspect floor because I had several tiles coming loose, it was not until September 2016 that he even took the time to look. Keep in mind that every morning I walk across the floor of my $25,000 kitchen and all I hear is tile crunching beneath my feet. Since he had to replace tiles in the same area on four different occasions before the entire job was complete, I requested a warranty on the tile floor. He did draw up an extended warranty but what's the point of offering a warranty if you cannot get anything done? I wanted to warn everyone about my terrible experience so they would not have to be stung by a crappy contractor. As a wise man once said, " A man is judged not when things go well but how he reacted in the face of adversity." I think we have our answer. Buyer beware

- storm doors where yanked off the very first day of work and only 1 of 3 were replaced. Now I only have plastic (that I put up) where the door is supposed to be! Air leaks, lots of water damage on main wooden doors now. When it rains hard, water floods under the doors into the house floor.

- lots of other things never finished or started

- soffit and fascia falling down or twisted and warped

- he tried to get out of installing siding insulation panels (which were in contract) and six inch smaller attic vents. But we caught and got that taken care of

Work was not everyday as agreed upon during estimate, they or the helper only would come by as they felt like it, usually after I questioned when they were returning, Only "working" maybe 10 days (and only 4-6 hours at that) in about five weeks - and bad weather was rarely an issue.

Never went over a final bill, at this point I assume we are square and never got my house key back. The work was as expected and was finished as promised, I just wish I could get my key back ! I feel like I was forgotten as the project came to a close.

- trim replaced on windows but nail gun nails are going thru to the interior view, in most places, some storm windows are nailed shut or won't open

The owner, Dave, was supposed to be working but his untrained and still learning helper (nice guy) was usually left by himself and texted Dave photos of what he was doing for guidance. (His first two helpers disappeared after Dave left them ALL day with no vehicle or lunch or drinks - we had to feed them! Said he was only running to a store a few miles away for supplies in the early AM but didn't return until near dark).

- window trim. Gaps at the corners where the trim angle or trim was cut too short

- siding was mostly done but they glued (shiny plastic to coated plastic) on the upper cut areas - so of course that is falling down

- was supposed to replace rotten wood at a window but just covered it with trim instead

Would never recommend this company, things started out fine but Dave soon put our project on the back burner for other jobs. We had problem after problem. He miss cut the crown molding over the cabinets but instead of correcting it he put in a patch and tried to hide it. When we pointed it out to him he said you did not see it right away so guest would never notice it. We had so many problems that we fired him before completion and paid another carpenter to finish the job. Stay away from this company.
